Floor scrubbers bring major convenience to daily cleaning work by saving time, labor, and manpower. However, several operating precautions should be followed when using a floor scrubber. The following five points are especially important.

1. Do not reverse the positive and negative battery terminals. Floor scrubber batteries have clear polarity requirements. Reversed connections are usually caused by carelessness, and this problem can generally be avoided with basic attention during operation.

2. Do not pour laundry detergent, high-foam cleaner, or dishwashing liquid into the water tank. When the floor is dirty, it may seem reasonable to add detergent to a walk-behind or ride-on floor scrubber. The correct approach is to use a low-foam cleaner, with the amount adjusted according to the level of dirt on the floor.

3. Do not keep the floor scrubber running in one place for a long time. If the machine stays still while working, the brush and floor remain in excessive contact, creating heavy friction in the same area. This can wear or damage the floor surface.

4. Do not rinse the fan air inlet with water, and do not clean the machine surface or internal parts with corrosive solutions. After using an automatic floor scrubber, clean the machine promptly. During cleaning, block the fan air inlet with a cloth first; otherwise, water may enter the fan and cause damage.

5. Do not charge the battery too frequently. Battery life is strongly affected by the number of charging cycles. To extend battery service life, it is better to charge the automatic floor scrubber after the battery has been substantially used rather than charging repeatedly after short use.

These rules should be followed during daily operation to keep the equipment reliable and reduce avoidable maintenance problems.
